In 1996, Warren Perriam launched Perriam & Partners from a spare room in his home – just one man, one desk and a clear vision: to create a people-first accounting firm where relationships matter as much as results.
Along the way, Warren welcomed new leadership to carry his vision forward: first Oliver Johnston, who joined the team in 2015 and became a director in 2021, followed by Rachel Vorster, appointed as director in 2023. Together, they bring fresh thinking and deep expertise to every client relationship.
Nearly 30 years later, that little seed has grown into a thriving team of 25. We’re still proudly independent, still powered by purpose and just as focused on helping our clients flourish.

Make it Happen – Charitable Trust
Many kiwi kids come from families who simply don’t have the resources to participate in activities that improve their overall wellbeing – be it sports, school events, the arts, music, cultural experiences, education, or even essential medical care. That’s where Make It Happen steps in.
Established in 2013 by Warren Perriam (yes, that Warren) and Richard Sprott (at the time of Saunders & Co), the Make It Happen Charitable Trust steps in to bridge this gap. A portion of every client fee from Perriam & Partners and Saunders & Co is directed into the Trust, creating a fund dedicated to helping local children access the opportunities they deserve. To date, the Trust has approved grants totalling over $235,000.
