GEM
The All Blacks win over France. One stadium sold out. Another huge boost to the CHCH economy. All three came as a package – how good!
TOPICAL
The snow is here, and more is on its way.
SPOTLIGHT
It’s hard to go past the FIFA World Cup. It’s the quarter finals now, so if your favourite team is still in the competition, good for you!

SPORTIFY
The penalty shootout between Aussie and Egypt at the FIFA World Cup. If you did watch it, who were you backing? Our friends over the ditch, or Egypt? The ‘grass wasn’t greener’ for Aussie, was it!
Oh, and by the way – Wimbledon is on, if you didn’t know!
OPINION

It’s hospitality, and some of the award recipients I’m guessing won’t even have a bottom line.
THE MARKETS
Yes, insolvency numbers continue to track up, but business failures may prove to be a good thing for the overall health of the economy.
Business closures are all part of the recovery, are they not? They allow surviving businesses to succeed. Whilst it might sound harsh, we do need the weak businesses to close.

Each week we announce Perriams “Game Changers” for the week.
Our All Blacks win over France. France put the All Blacks under pressure, but this new team absorbed this and came out with a tight win to set off the new management team regime.
The Tour de France has started. Even if you don’t like cycling, just watch the coverage for the scenery – you won’t be disappointed!
Our Tall Blacks beat the Philippines 106-102 in a World Cup qualification over the weekend!
