Labour has come out with some of their policy changes should they get to power.

Scrapping natorals investment boost (it was far from a stimulus).

Increase the GST registration threshold to $80,000 from $60,000 – about time. The $60,000 threshold was introduced back in 2009 and, had it simply been adjusted for CPI since then, it would be around $93,000 today. 😮

Increasing the small asset write off threshold from $1,000 – $10,000 for small businesses (not sure about this as this just reduces the tax take and we need more tax.)

The interesting one is big businesses being required to pay small suppliers within 15 days on invoices of $25,000 or less. No idea how they intend to police this it seems impossible.
