The Super Round this coming long weekend, where all eyes will be on the opening of the new Christchurch stadium, Te Kaha. Let’s hope it all runs well for stadium management, the supporters, and a Crusaders win over the Waratahs will be the icing on the cake. All the very best, Te Kaha.

There’s talk from various sections about the need to increase our GST rate if NZ Limited is going to balance the books in the future. It was last increased in 2010 from 12.5% to 15%. It may now be a matter of when, and by how much?
SPOTLIGHT
Are we going to see a change in leadership at National HQ? Where there’s smoke there’s fire, they say! TOPICAL The Crusaders horses have been canned! Should this have been a decision of management, or should it have been left to the supporters to make that call? No need to answer that one!
QUESTION OF THE WEEK
Is it the final whistle for Moana Pasifika? It’s not looking good, but it will be sad ☹ So, you rich listers out there, it’s no use taking your money to the grave, and they only need $10m annually. For some of our rich listers, $10m is pocket money!
OPINION
If you had to select one of the most undervalued services/employment positions in Godzone, what would it be? I’m going to go with a position in aged care, not the owners, but the workers and caregivers. They fill the roles of cleaner, caregiver and psychologist, all while assessing the physical and mental wellbeing of the patient. That’s probably just the start of their shift!

Look out for Otematata. Did you catch the One Roof article where for the last quarter Otematata topped the country for the largest increase in house prices at 8.7%. This sleepy little town of 200 residents, which has always snuck under the radar, might just be the next big thing.

Each week we announce Perriams “Game Changers” for the week.
- Yes, it’s the Wahs again this week who top the power rankings, and why shouldn’t they?! They are now sitting at second in the NRL.
- The Chiefs’ last minute try against the Hurricanes to take the game to 17-all and into extra time. One of the better tries you will see all year folks!
- How did our Crusaders lose that one against the Force after being up 19 – 7 at half time?! As they say, “it’s a game of two halves”, and the Crusaders just weren’t in the second half.
